Taqueria Tepeque was great! Had the Enchiladas Michoacanas and Birria. Everything was fresh, including the hand made corn tortillas and cafe de olla. First time there and will for sure be back.
Seen on TikTok and had to try! Bestie & I both had 1 Taco Dorado de Birria de Res Y 1 Taco Dorado de Asada. We also shared a Tamale De Elote con Crema Y Queso. So good! Both Meats were tasty, but the Birria de Res took the win! Definitely will be back!
This place hit home yesterday. I grew up on Enchiladas Michoacan style and this place nailed it. Thats the plate I give 5 stars to. I would recommend to the cooks to maybe consider asking the guest how they prefer the potatoes squared or thinly sliced. that the only constructive critique. The chile that was on the table with the oil was great too. Classic very hot chile for tostadas with cream, I wonder if they do that there.
The enchiladas was ok to sweet for my taste cheese taste like Parmesan fresh cheese will been excellent Pork meat with chili was good I recommended it's was delicious. Person who took the order was not helpful
